BNUT - Babol Noshirvani University of Technology is in the first place among universities of MSRT of the country based on the Times Higher Education ranking known as THE World University Ranking 2022-2023

In the ranking of 2023, The Times Institute has reviewed 1799 universities and scientific and research centers of the world. In this ranking, universities are evaluated based on their four main missions "teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international perspective". According to The Times Institute's World University Ranking (THE World University Ranking 2023), Babol Noshirvani University of Technology ranks first among universities of MSRT (Ministry of Science and Technoloy) of the country, and ranks 401-500 among all universities in the world. It is worth mentioning that only 65 universities from Iran have made it to this ranking.
