- Minimum GPA
Students who apply to BNUT should have a minimum of 60 out of 100 GPA (12 out of 20) for each of their previous degrees.
A GPA of lower than 60 out of 100 is not acceptable under any circumstances.
-Persian Language Proficiency
Accepted students must gain a certificate of Persian language proficiency from an authorized center before starting the courses at Babol Noshirvani University of Technology.

-Tuition
The tuition fee per year for each academic degree may change at the beginning of each academic year and can be accessed via the Costs page.

Accepted students must gain a certificate of Persian language proficiency from an authorized center before starting the courses at Babol Noshirvani University of Technology. Upon a memorandum of understanding between Babol Noshirvani University of Technology and the Persian Language Center (PLC) of University of Mazandaran, accepted students at BNUT will be introduced to PLC to complete their Persian language proficiency training. Notes: 1. Students are free to choose any authorized Persian language training center in any country. 2. The cost of the Persian language proficiency training at PLC of University of Mazandaran is 800 USD just for the courses and 1000 USD for courses plus a single dormitory for a 6 to 9-month period. 3. After completing the training period, students take part in a proficiency exam called Samfa (سامفا) held by Sanjesh Organization. If accepted, students can start their courses at BNUT. |

Note 1:
All admitted applicants will be required to pay 200 US$ to cover their application fees before starting their academic studies.
Note 2:
Submission of documents to the website of the Babol Noshirvani University of Technology is free of charge. After receiving the initial notification of acceptance from BNUT, the students are asked to complete the application process on the "saorg" system, which belongs to the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
Students may cancel their application anytime before submitting the documents to the "saorg" system without a fee.
Note 3:
BNUT provides on campus housing in dormitories to a limited number of international students each year. However, since BNUT is located in a nice, yet affordable neighborhood of Babol, inexpensive housing is available within the walking distance from the BNUT campus to all students.
The information about dormitory and food fees can be obtained from the Office of Scientific Collaborations and International Affairs of BNUT.
